Former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Bob Welch was found dead on Thursday, June 7 in Nashville, Tennessee, according to CNN. The 66-year-old musician died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Welch’s wife found his body about 12:15 pm according to Nashville Police spokesman Don Aaron. “All indications are that it was a suicide,” Aaron said. He added that a suicide note was found. Welsh was the guitarist for Fleetwood Mac in the early seventies, though he left the group in 1974 before Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined the group. Best wishes to his family and friends.
