The Tennessee Department of Transportation will be using an innovative approach to replace the riding surface of two aging bridges in downtown Nashville beginning April 20. Construction on the .7 million project to repair the Main and Woodland Streets bridges on I-24 will result in interstate closures for 13 weekends concluding about August 31.
